Here's another giveaway this month! Who wants to win one of two pamper sessions at The Skin Sanctuary in Makati? Both guys and gals are welcome to join =) This GK Giveaway, along with my 2 other giveaways, will run for the rest of this birthday month yey! ;)
Tada! Let's start from the end hehe. I felt pretty fine after a brief and private me-time at The Skin Sanctuary in Makati. I've been super busy for the past few weeks so I welcomed the treat.
The Skin Sanctuary is located at Metropolitan Avenue in San Antonio Village, Makati. The place can accommodate around 3 people for the normal treatments.
For this close to 1.5-hour treatment, this was my private room. After cleaning my face a bit, they used the steamer (on the right below) on me for around 20 minutes. I got a Hypoallergenic Facial because of my uber sensitive skin and allergies. The difference of this with their normal facial is they didn't use chemicals and fragrances on my face.
My face was ready for pricking and removal of white and blackheads - included in the facial. This is the more "painful" part of the whole treatment but you can definitely bear it. I'm glad I didn't have big pimples and I just had a few whiteheads removed. If you have a bigger pimple, you can ask them to inject and make it smaller or dry for an additional P100 to P150.
They did the High-Frequency thing to reduce redness and put a net on my face (which was comfy) to protect me from the needle-like sensation.
Then came the suction cup for the Diamond Peel. It removes dead skin cells and goes all the way to your neck ;)
The last and my most favorite part is the Moisturizing Facial! Pretty ingenious to put a net again so that the cream can be lifted easily =) They left me alone for like 15-20 minutes. I was glad for the alone time actually.
So there you have it, Folks! I felt fresh and rejuvenated in no time with this quick getaway! Do you have 1.5 hours for yourself? Why not join this giveaway and start planning your trip to The Skin Sanctuary =) You can drop by and catch Dra. Jackie de las Alas, the resident derma!
